COVID-19 UpdateS

Dear Families of Heart and Soul Pediatrics, 

I understand that the recent news and uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic has most likely caused you to have many questions, concerns, and even some anxiety. In light of the guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), I will continue following the practices below to ensure the safety of our patients: 

1. As always, we strive to provide your child with personalized health care and individualized attention, so we will continue our practice of scheduling appointments in a way that limits patient to patient contact. 
2. Between patients, we will continue to thoroughly sanitize the office and any contact surfaces and equipment. 
3. We will complete the check-in process when you call for your appointment and will bring patients back immediately upon arrival to the office. 
4. You may contact us by phone whereby we can provide you medical advice and guidance. We have remote access to our files to provide continuity of care.

Please remember that the best way to prevent the spread of communicable disease is cleanliness and thorough hand washing with soap and water for 20 seconds. Refrain from touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Children and teenagers should be kept away from elderly relatives as much as possible. Avoid public places and keep six feet between you and anyone with whom you don’t regularly interact.
